One of our core principals is that each individual should control their own identity, as best envisioned by Identity Commons. That is the foundation of any trust relationship, and the means by which any social network can filter demands for its attention, and thereby leverage its collective power. Establishing systems that provide that control is an important part of the mission of the Collective.
