Are you now ready to activate your new SIM card? Globe may activate your new SIM immediately after insertion if it recognizes the SIM automatically. However, if that doesn’t happen, you can activate it manually.
Turn on your mobile data
Activating your Globe SIM is as simple as turning on mobile data. Connect your new SIM card to your handset’s SIM slot and turn on mobile data. Globe will send you a welcome text message as soon as it detects that your SIM is attempting to connect to the Internet. Your new Globe SIM is now activated after you receive that text message.

Call 222
You can actually activate your Globe SIM by simply calling 222 if the previous method didn’t work. This is actually automated call service, and you will then receive an SMS welcoming you to the Globe network as well as a load balance summary. Once you receive those texts, your Globe SIM has been activated, and you can now text, call, or surf the Internet.

To activate your Globe prepaid SIM, dial the USSD code *143# and navigate to My Account > Data Balance. Once your Globe SIM is activated, you will receive an SMS response and a welcome message.
