What Are the Requirements for SSS Salary Loans?

According to SSS Circular 2019-0142, members who wish to apply for an SSS salary loan must do so online.

In order to apply for an SSS salary loan, you will need the following documents:

Access to the Internet;

SSS account. 

How you want to receive loan proceeds from an electronic loan disbursement channel.

The loan disbursement via check is no longer available as of 2021. As an alternative, you can choose from the following methods of disbursement:

Banks participating in PESONet. In My.SSS you will find a Disbursement Account Enrollment Module where you can enroll your account with a PESONet-accredited bank. If you don’t hold a joint account, you won’t be accepted.

Payment/RTC/CPO. You can also choose to receive the loan proceeds through GCash, PayMaya, DCPay Philippines, or DBP Cash Padala through M Lhuillier if you do not have a PESONet-accredited bank account.

UBQ Card issued by the SSS. Note that UBP accounts associated with other government offices (such as the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card) are not permitted. There are only 12 digits on the UBP Quick Card and it starts with “10”. You can obtain this free UBP Quick Card at any of the following SSS branches:
